Solo career

Fancey released his first solo album, Fancey on March Records in 2004 followed by an EP The Magical Summer. Also in 2004, Fancey appeared in the documentary Better Off in Bed with The New Pornographers and The Gay. His second solo album, Schmancey, was released November 13, 2007 on What Are Records?.

In early January 2008, Fancey announced via a Myspace blog post that he had already begun work on another album, due to come out in 2009. In July 2009, Fancey announced via Twitter that album was finished, and that the 1st single from the album, "All My Friends," was released via his site, fancey.org, as well as most digital outlets. A video for "All My Friends" became available in January 2010.

Television

In 2008, Fancey participated off screen in an episode of The Office entitled "Dinner Party". He portrayed Hunter (usually portrayed by Nicholas D'Agosto

In the fall of 2010 NBC hired Todd to write a song that was featured on NBC's Prime Time Special. Fancey is currently working on a new solo record to be released sometime in 2011. Fancey was also hired to create music for Caprica
