Tingry is situated 10 miles (16.1 km) southeast of Boulogne, at the junction of the D901 (formerly the N1
Route nationale 1

 – the Paris-Calais highway) and D238 roads. The D901 at Tingry has a sign warning of the Dangerous Declavity – the steep hill down towards the village.
