In October 2007, Timothy Taylor Gallery opened a new 2000 square feet (185.8 m²) space in Carlos Place, Mayfair, London, with an inaugural exhibition of Alex Katz’s works, entitled ‘One Flight Up’., The move allowed the gallery to exhibit a greater scope of works in a space designed by the acclaimed Eric Parry Architects.

History
The gallery was founded in 1996 on Bruton Place and later moved to 24 Dering Street in 2003, expanding to include a second space at 21 Dering Street in 2006.In October 2007, Timothy Taylor Gallery opened a new 2000 square feet (185.8 m²) space in Carlos Place, Mayfair, London, with an inaugural exhibition of Alex Katz’s works, entitled ‘One Flight Up’., The move allowed the gallery to exhibit a greater scope of works in a space designed by the acclaimed Eric Parry Architects.
