in Danville, Kentucky for their summer season of productions, where he worked with friend and frequent collaborator Lawrence Lesher. His appearances that summer included the starring role in Babe The Sheep Pig; as the stuffy Dr. Lombardi in The Servant of Two Masters, as goofy Castillian Spainaird 'Jesus Costazuela' in the female version of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple and as the cantankerous Roy Knobb in the original comedy / drama A Jarful of Fireflies by Catherine Bush.

In the summer of 2010, Cox returned to Danville and gave a critically acclaimed comic performance as bigamist John Smith in a revival of the Ray Cooney comedy / farce Run For Your Wife, directed by Lesher.

In December of 2011, Cox will be collaborating yet again with Lesher on Grayce Productions' comedy The Asphalt Christmas.

In addition to his extensive work in the theatre, Cox has also appeared in numerous short and feature films, in a wide range of dramatic and comedic character parts, including critically acclaimed turns as a boss from hell in Over Coffee; as a lonely professor looking for meaning in his life in Socks and Cakes; as a former adult film star in Jack Jimminy: The Story Of A Pornstar Extra and as a sceptical shrink in The Watchers.

2011 has been an exciting year for Cox. He returned to the stage at the start of the year in the New York premiere of Martin Blank's dark comedy Avenue of the Americas and earned positive reviews. He's also made appearances in the films Terry Kendall and Orange Green (cast against type as a stalker and murderer) and. Principals.
