It is part of Frenchtown Park, situated behind the Recreation Department Building. It can be accessed via Frenchtown Road. Many foundations still exist, including the structure of the mill itself, a boiler room, a restroom, bridge foundations, and the remnants of several dwellings. The mill (also known as the Mount Hope Factory), built at the confluence of the Mawney and Frenchtown Brooks, was founded in 1813 but by the 1970s it was in disuse and it came under ownership of the town of East Greenwich.
