There are many varieties of Thumbuli: Menthe Thumbuli, shunti (ginger) thaumbuli, and various other herbal thumbuli. The herbal thumbuli is prepared with leaves like Basale soppu, kaki kudi soppu, doddapatre soppu (all of them grown in all over Karnataka).
