National Tuxford Learning Community

The National School is a co-member of the National Tuxford Learning Community (NTLC), a non statutory federation of the National CE and Tuxford Schools.

Sixth form

The National School has a Sixth form centre including a common room, a dedicated ICT suite, and a study base for work and study. The common room incorporates a kitchen, and students have access to multimedia equipment. Most students study four subjects to AS level in year 12, and three to A2 in year 13.

Academic Performance

In 2011 the overall success rate of pupils GCSE results was 100%. In August 2009, over 70% of the pupils gained 5 or more GCSEs at A*-C, and in 2007 it got the third best A level results in the county.
