Synopsis

After a rotting corpse is discovered on the grounds of Streech Grange, known as 'The Ice House', police believe that they have finally found David Maybury, declared missing ten years previously. His widow, Phoebe, who still lives at the Grange with her two companions Anne and Diana, falls under suspicion and becomes fodder for local gossip, as her neighbours come to believe that not only did she kill her husband but her parents as well.
