 label and they soon released their first album To Die as Kings. Wheat left the band in December 2009 and said he had other things to focus on in life (his family). The band is currently looking for a new drummer. Also, on December 16, 2009, it was announced that Ryan Helm

 had become the permanent rhythm guitarist of Demon Hunter following the departure of founding member Don Clark. Photos of Helm with the rest of the members of Demon Hunter were released immediately.

Future

As of 2011 it seems that the future of the band may be in limbo. Although there has been no indication that Ryan Helm will leave the band to support Demon Hunter full time, there has also been no indication that he won't. The band is still currently without a drummer as well. The band's record label has also removed the band's profile from the artist roster on the label's website.
