Early life and beginnings

Tabitha was born in Singapore, Singapore, the daughter of Andreas Nauser, a professional Executive Chef, and Saras Nauser Naidu, a housewife. Tabitha's father is Swiss and her mother is Indian. She is the elder sister of Serena, 5 years her junior.

Tabitha had different dreams when she was growing up. At first, she thought she would end up as a newscaster but when she realised that she could sing, she shifted her focus.

Tabitha's passion for music and singing started since she was very young at age and she would perform for her family and relatives during her family functions or gatherings. Over the years, her love for music had changed her taste vastly leading her to be versatile in wide range of genres such as Jazz, Hip Hop, Sentimental Ballads and Pop. To continue her quest in her love for music, she is now a member of an acoustic band at Republic Polytechnic.

Tabitha loves her grandfather very much. Due to his poor health, she wanted to show him that she could do something that makes a difference in her life. And with the strong encouragements from Tabitha's younger sister, Tabitha decided to register for the Singapore Idol audition in May 2009.

During the theatre audition,she sang the song 'At Last'. The judges were immediately impressed with her stunning vocal and unanimously agreed that she has a great potential in singing and predicted that she would be a hot favourite in the competition.

Tabitha delivered outstanding performances through her strong stage presence and powerhouse vocal and she won good praises from the judges. She was one of the hot favourite among the judges. "In my professional opinion, for sheer stage presence and star power, I'm going to have to go with Tabitha", said one of the Judges.

Tabitha Nauser is known for her powerful voice. Dubbed as 'the complete package', she beat many of her competitors and emerged as the top 3 finalists in the Idol competition.

Her performances during the Idol competition included 'Big Girls Don't Cry', 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'Summertime' 'Superwoman','Spotlight', 'Crazy In Love' and 'Praying For Time'.

Post-Idol

Tabitha has performed at community shows and corporate events. Her Post Idol appearances include performing at the Chingay Parade 2010 finale
alongside first Singapore Idol winner Taufik Batisah. She was also nominated for Babe of The Year in 2009 .

Tabitha talent's being described as 'A natural born performer with powerhouse vocals" won the hearts of critics and the general public with her soulful voice, maturity and positive attitude. And she has been selected to represent Asia to sing the theme song of the Youth Olympic Games 2010.

Tabitha's popularity continue to rise after the Idol competition and this is evident through the strong fanbase which has been constantly increasing since then.
