In 2003, TI Automotive acquired Pierburg Fuel Pumps in Germany.

William "Bill" L. Kozyra was named chairman, chief executive officer and president of TI Automotive in May 2008. Since then, Kozyra has tranformed TI Automotive from a near bankrupt automotive supplier to a first class contender in the industry.
