Sweety Kapoor was one of the people behind the legendary Anokha music night, hosted by Mercury Music Prize-winning artist Talvin Singh
, that gave rise to what became known as 'The Asian Underground' movement, at London
's Blue Note venue.
She was one of the first to introduce the scene into Bombay working alongside artists; State Of Bengal, Amar and Marque Gilmore.
