While attending Terra Sancta Quakers Hill, Meredith played for the Australian Schoolboys team in 2003. It was announced on the Penrith Panthers official website forum on 2 January 2009 that Meredith had signed to play with the Windsor Wolves for season 2009 and will train for three months with the first grade NRL Penrith Panthers team.

He had previously made his first grade debut for the Roosters against Brisbane in 2006, but suffered a season-ending knee injury in the second half of the match which the Roosters lost 24-6.
