 The Beat of NY). Covino then co-hosted K-ROCK's Hard On with Crazy Cabbie but after years of begging and pleading Covino finally got his own weekend show at K-ROCK which led him to the stratospheres of satellite radio.

In addition to being a DJ, Covino was in the Marketing/Programming departments at WXRK and worked his way up to the head of the Promotions department. Covino held that position for many years until he was offered a fulltime DJ position by Maxim Radio

Covino has worked at Sirius XM Satellite Radio since 2002. He is the nighttime host of SIRIUS-XM's Octane (Pure Hard Rock) and also hosted a weekend countdown called "The Blender Download 15" (Blender Magazine's Top 15 Downloads of the week) on MAXIM Radio.
