 was a Greek actor in theater and television. He was married with an actress Margarita Lambrinou.

Biography

He studied acting in the Arti Theatre of Karolos Coon and made his debut in theatre in 1944. He took part in more than 70 movies, mostly in secondary roles and mainly in the comedy acting part; his first was The Song of Pain (1953) and his last was Grafeio ideon (1969).

Stavros Xenidis was connected with his theatrical direction with Kostas Moussouris' company in which he took part and acted for mostly two decades in the 1950s and the 1960s including "When a role is playing by Stavros", spoken by Kostas Moussouris (which mentions in Lefkoma "Kostas Moussouris-Pathos Theatre of Miltos Lidorikis). He also appeared in several TV shows in the 1970s and later; his most characteristic role was officer in Beka from Yiannis Maris in ERT. His last appearance on television was in 1991 in Aris Bonsalendis's Secret.

On May 27, 2008, Stavros Xenidis (and his wife) welcomed himself into Athens Retirement Home; he suffered a lot of health problems in which caused successive head trauma. He died some months later on November 2.
