His interest in Interlingua
came about in 1953, one year before the grammar was set in stone. His early works came to the attention of Alexander Gode
, then the leader of the Interlingua Division of Science Service, who asked for and got permission to print the student's articles in official publications.
Today, he is the head of the Societate American pro Interlingua
, and the editor of its quarterly journal, Confluentes. He was also the editor of the now-defunct Interlingua journal Le Foro, and of the psychological journal Multivariate Behavioral Research.
