In the recent years, Sophie has mobilized communities while targeting women with the aim of strengthening women's protagonism in the resolution of conflicts. Through theater and creative means, Sophie engages her group The 5cs Human Rights Theater company to do pieces and performances based on the five values of the International feminist movement

Sophie Loves arts and for that reason, has been the contact person in Kenya for the WomenArts - USA that initiated the Support Women Artists Now holiday to celebrate women Artists. She has been coordinating the SWAN day in Kenya since the first holiday in 2007.

Her theatre group, the 5 Centuries human rights group, performs to promote social transformation and human rights, particularly those related to women. Sophia also works as a programs assistant in charge of campaign and advocacy at the National Convention Executive Council (NCEC).

She also worked with numerous Human rights organizations in the country including Kenya Human Rights Commission
