Suharto's death

On 28 January 2008, Rukmana, delivered her tearful eulogy at the end of her father's private funeral, stating, "If he ever did something wrong and sinned, may God grant his forgiveness. We also ask, that hopefully all of you, sirs and madams, be willing to forgive all of the mistakes and faults for my late father. Father, farewell father. Our prayers are always be with you."

Family life

She adopted her nephew Ari Sigit's out-of-wedlock daughter. Siti Hardiyanti Rukamana was married to the already exceptionally wealthy Indra Rukmana, heir of a business tycoon.
