for Derbyshire in 1701, and held the seat until his death in 1727.
Curzon was the first owner to exploit the landscape potential of Kedleston Park, and commissioned Charles Bridgeman
in the 1720s to create formal water features. He died from a fall while out hunting. He was unmarried and was succeeded by his brother Nathaniel
