In 2003, McNeil moved to Germany's 2nd Bundesliga and signed with EV Duisburg. In 2005, they won promotion to the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. In the 2005/2006 season, McNeil helped his team to stay in the DEL as he contributed 15 goals. However, McNeil decided to join the Kassel Huskies
and returned to the DEL in 2008. McNeil split the year with the Huskies and the Oberliga
's Herne Crusaders. He is currently playing with Herne Crusaders in the Oberliga
