History

Semiahmoo Point Lighthouse was built near Blaine, Washington, close to the Canadian border, in 1905. The light station consisted of a -story dwelling built on a platform supported by wooden piles.
It was deactivated in 1944.
Its design by Carl Leick was identical to Desdemona Sands Light
