History

The Scott Road Station was built in 1990 as the terminus of the first extension of the Expo Line. (This extension included two stations; Scott Road and Columbia

The station itself is located in a very desolate industrial district, but it is also one of the most important transfer points for TransLink passengers. Unlike most stations, which rely on passengers arriving by foot or by bus, this station includes a massive park and ride facility with 1532 spaces managed by the Imperial Parking Canada Corporation. Current daily fare is CAD $3.00.
