Saint Helens church is a grade I listed building. It was built in 1775 as a mortuary chapel, and is now the parish church. Monuments consist of four wall plaques to the Earl of Scarborough, for whom the chapel was built, in white marble
and in Greek
taste, dating from 1832-1856.
There was an earlier church in the nearby medieval villages of East and West Firsby
but nothing remains of that or the village.
