Recent work

Work began in late 2007 on Hudson's new "club pop" music project under the name Ultraviolet Sound. The group, also known as UVS, released their first full length record, O.C.D. (Obsessive Compulsive Dancing), in April 2008 independently. The band secured sponsorship of O.C.D from Adidas Originals and garnered a total of 135,000 downloads.

Among UVS's highlights for 2008 were being on tour for most of the year, a show in Toronto at Circa with the DJ superstars SebastiAn and Kavinksy, a 35-city tour with Atlanta-based crunk-rockers Family Force 5

UVS released their new album worldwide on April 12, 2011. They recently added 3 preview songs from their latest album "Fuck'd Up" featuring Izza Kizza "Electric Misfit Love Machine" and "La La Love" on their MySpace page.

On July 28 they streamed their first single "Suck My Kiss" on their MySpace page. On September 14, 2010 their first single "Suck My Kiss" was released digitally on iTunes along with three remixes.

Television career

Hudson was featured on Frontline in its report "The Way The Music Died." She has also appeared on a Season 1 episode of Project Runway
