Sam Simmons is an award-winning Australian comedian and radio and TV presenter. He is currently based in Sydney.
Career Since 2003 Simmons has performed on Australian radio, initially at 3RRR in Melbourne as a guest on breakfast show, The Pinch. In 2005 he appeared on the Fox FM show Better than Church as regular guest, “The Animal Guy”.
In 2005 he debuted on youth radio station Triple J as a regular guest on the Dave Callan show.

Career Since 2003 Simmons has performed on Australian radio, initially at 3RRR in Melbourne as a guest on breakfast show, The Pinch. In 2005 he appeared on the Fox FM show Better than Church as regular guest, “The Animal Guy”.
In 2005 he debuted on youth radio station Triple J as a regular guest on the Dave Callan show. During 2006 and 2007 he hosted the Stranger Danger weekly segment on the Drive Show with Robbie Buck. In 2007 he hostedThe Tuck Shop mid-dawn shift. During the summer of 2007-2008 he presented a week-night show he called Summer Nights Bitch. During 2008 he presented the Weekend Breakfast show.
Simmons has also been much involved with the Melbourne Comedy Festival both as staff (Workshop Leader) and as performer. In 2006 he was one of the nominees for the Barry Award, and in 2008 won the Directors' Choice Award (see also below).
Simmons currently appears in spots on triple j tv, as well as on the week-day afternoon Triple J Dools show with Scott Dooley, where he continues to present Shitty Trivia.
