The name

The restaurant name was taken from the Salt Grass Trail, an historical journey in which cattlemen would lead their herds to the rich salt grass pastures of the Gulf Coast. Saltgrass has around 35 locations in the state of Texas and single stores in neighboring states. There are several restaurants in the DFW area.
