History

It is believed that there was a very famous devotee of hanumanji named mohandas.He was so much dedicated to hanumanji that hanumanji usually came to meet him at his living place.
Seeing him so indulge, Mohandasji's sister kandibai decided for his marriage.Other side,mohandas was not willing to get married.So he told a lie to his sister about the girl's death with whom she decided him to marry,that girl died on that day only.After this mohandas ji remained single for life.
The temple was constructed/looked after under the surveillance of mohandas ji later.

 of that village shifted the idol to Salasar for proper religious ceremony. Thakur brought two bulls, placed hanumanji's idol on its cart and left them in the open courts by believing where ever the bulls would stop, the temple would be built up at that place only.The place where bulls stopped a temple was built up and that place was named as salasar.Many of the villagers and the shopkeepers shifted to that place and started living there.A new village came in the existence this how. Initially the idol was housed in a hut, the place later developed into a concrete temple, and today it is a large temple complex.It is said that drinking water of the wells of the salasar is blessed by the lord Hanumanji.

  3. New Delhi -> Gurgaon -> Behror -> Narnaul -> Singhana -> Chidawa -> Jhunjhunu -> Mukundgarh -> Laxmangarh -> SalsarBalaji (335 km) (Leave NH-8 from Behror, better than above route but roads from Behror-Narnaul-Chidawa are worst)
  4. New Delhi -> Gurgaon -> Behror -> Kotputli -> Neemkathana -> Udaipurwati -> Sikar -> SalsarBalaji (335 km) (Leave NH-8 from Kotputli. Roads from kothputli to behror is ok types only problem is hectic NH8 due to 6 lane construction work)

New Delhi -> Gurgaon -> Behror -> Kotputli -> Shahpura -> Ajeetgarh -> Samod (Sikar road) -> Chomun -> Ringas (Khatushyam JI) -> Sikar -> SalsarBalaji (395 km) (Leave NH-8 from Shahpura) also called as Samod road route good route only problem is throughout traffic and diversions on NH 8 due to construction work.
  6. New Delhi -> Gurgaon -> Behror -> Kotputli -> Shahpura -> Chandwaji -> Chomun -> Ringas (Khatushyam Ji) -> Sikar -> SalsarBalaji (399 km) (leaving NH-8 from Shahpura) also called as Chandwaji road route. Although long but for almost 225 km u will be driving on NH8. a bit disturbed due to construction work
  7. New Delhi -> Bahadurgarh -> Jhajjhar -> Charkhidadri -> Bhandwa -> Loharu -> Chidawa -> Jhunjhunu -> Mukundgarh -> Laxmangarh -> SalsarBalaji (303 km)

Direct buses from Delhi are also available.

major attraction is Salazar main balaji temple. Beside this people also worship the temple of Anjani Mata (mother of Lord Hanuman) and temple of HANUMAN Ji at PABOLAM DHAM near village JASWANTHGARH, which is around 35 km away from SALASAR. People also pay their homage to Shahid Girdhari Lal Dhukia, a martyr of Kargil war. Shahid Girdhari Lal Smarak and shahid damodhar prasad sharma (memorial of the war hero) is located near 2 km away from salasar town in Gudawari village on Salasar-Ratangarh Road.
