. There are about 20 full-time teachers and 400 students at the school. It covers grades LKG to 10th Standard.

Every year two positions are opened at SDA Residential English High School for volunteer teachers. These teachers are typically students or graduates from Seventh-day Adventist colleges in the United States of America.

Religious Makeup of the Student Body

This school is composed of mostly Hindu students from low-income families who are sponsored by the government. There are also numerous Muslims and Christians at the school, with Seventh-day Adventists making up a small minority. The majority of the students are Hindu.

About sixty students (20 male and 40 female) are staying in the hostels, the school's on-campus dormitories. There is one warden for each hostel.

This is the first school in High range of Idukki to have English medium of teaching.
