Rudrani was at first married to Lord Shiva, but later she fell in love with Srivats, when Lord Shiva came to know this, he became very angry and took the form of "The Destructer"
He killed Srivats and gave them the curse that they will never meet again. When Rudrani's father came to know about this he was enraged and then forcefully made Lord Shiva take back his curse.
There is a strong belief that they will meet each other some day. Even though their religion might vary, but their true love will forever flourish.
