Romina Espinosa better known by her stage name "Romina", is an American actress, writer, producer, entrepreneur and singer. She is best known as the author of The Freedom of my Eyes, co-founder of Taptic Toys, Inc, and as an actress on Jonas L.A..

Early life

Romina was born in Coral Gables, Florida and is of Cuban-Jewish descent. She is mixed ethnically with backgrounds from Dutch, Euzkadi, France, Morocco and Spain. She is a descendant of the Dutch Jewish philosopher Baruch Spinoza. Romina attended Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart

Romina made her acting debut by starring in the Spill Canvas music video for the song Staplegunned (Remix). She later landed a role as Connie in the short film Precious Moments as a teenager struggling with adulthood whilst attempting to reestablish a connection with her distanced father. Motivational Speaking

Following the publication of her book in 2004 which was dedicated to those coping with ADD/ADHD, Romina began touring as a motivational speaker. She gave lectures at schools, universities and bookstores talking about the struggles of being a teen with ADD. Being diagnosed with ADD at a young age, Romina became a spokesperson for teens living with ADD/HD with a message to motivate them to overcome all obstacles to achieve their dreams.
