At the beginning of 2010 Rohr became a suburb of Aarau.

Geography

Rohr has an area, , of 3.4 km² (1.3 sq mi). Of this area, 31.7% is used for agricultural purposes, while 39.2% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 22.7% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (6.4%) is non-productive (rivers or lakes).

The municipality is located in the Aarau district, and since 1 January 2010 has been part of the municipality of Aarau. It consisted of the linear village
