. It is located about ten miles (16 km) west-southwest of Sainte Genevieve. It formerly had a post office, using the zip code 63676; at any rate, mail now comes from Sainte Genevieve. Rocky Ridge was incorporated in 1987 but was disincorporated a few years later in the earlier 1990s. Rocky Ridge has recently undergone some changes including the paving of many of the subdivision roads. Property owners pay the community leaders a fee to maintain the roads and utilities and access the area recreational facilities. This subdivision is a resort area and many of the cabins are only occupied part-time.

Rocky Ridge has 3 lakes named Ski, Wanda Lee, and Ocee. All of the lakes meet up and run into a creek that feeds into the Mississippi river

. There are 454 homes on 2500 acres (10.1 km²) of land. There is a swimming pool, three parks, tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. Four Wheeler trails and back roads are everywhere and 9 out of 10 homes are log frames. Most home owners are retired or elderly.
The name has changed to Gray Hawk.
