Biography

Since a young age, Robin was involved in music. He started to play the piano at the age of 6, but at the age of thirteen, he changed his preferences and wanted to pick up the bass. He joined the high school big band, and played musicals performed in his school. This was when he also founded his first band, inspired by bands like Cynic

 and Death. He attended the Rock Academy conservatory in Tilburg

After graduating the Rock Academy in 2004, he was often employed as a session musician for various Dutch pop artists. In October 2006 Robin entered the world of Blue Man Group

Equipment

Robin was seen using several basses, such as a couple of Wyn basses (USA), and was also seen playing Mayones (Poland), and a Carvin bass, all of them being fretless. He is using DR roundwound strings.
