). The magazine's journalists reportedly operate in secret within North Korea. The magazine aims to bring objective news to the people of North Korea. The reporters, who are Korean civilians and refugees who had media training in China
, are able to use techniques such as hidden cameras to create their articles. Their reports are smuggled out of North Korea via China and printed in Japan. The magazine is published twice a month.
In 2010, the magazine published a video of a dying, filthy homeless young woman foraging for food in North Korea which received worldwide attention.
