, are able to use techniques such as hidden cameras to create their articles. Their reports are smuggled out of North Korea via China and printed in Japan. The magazine is published twice a month.

In 2010, the magazine published a video of a dying, filthy homeless young woman foraging for food in North Korea which received worldwide attention.
