History

The manor of Rickerby has been owned by the a number of families, specifically the Tilliols,Rickerbys,Pickerings, Westons, Musgraves, Studholmes, Gilpins, Richardsons, and Grahams.

In the 19th century it was owned by the banker, George Head Head
