McCrank has competed and done very well in various contests around the world throughout his career. McCrank currently holds the highest score in a street skateboarding category with a 99.67 at Expn's 2000 grand prix.

He has also been in skateboarding movies such as The Reason (1999), éSpecial, Rodney Mullen Vs. Daewon Song: Round 2 (1999), The End (2000/1), Menikmati (2002), Harsh Euro Barge (2002), Yeah Right (2003), Way Out East (2004), and Riding The Long White Cloud (2009) (TV) as himself.
