UPJ is a four-year, degree-granting constituent college of the University of Pittsburgh and has an enrollment of approximately 2500 full-time undergraduates. UPJ was founded in 1927, as the first regional campus of a major university in the United States (it pre-dates the University of California at Los Angeles by a few months). It relocated to its Richland Township campus in 1970.
