On April 9, 2010, the National Premier Soccer League introduced Regals F.C. as the thirty-fourth team to join the league and the first team to join the Texas Division (Galveston Pirate SC

Pirate SC, Regals FC, Corpus Christi, and FC Tulsa would have made up the Texas Division of the National Premier Soccer League and was scheduled to begin play in the 2010–2011 season that would have started in October 2010 and continued into March 31, 2011. The Winter League would have complemented the already existing NPSL Premier Season which runs yearly from April 1 – August 1.
Stephen Heisler and the team hired Agua Nacida’s Miguel Landaverde as the club’s coach.
Notable achievements include a 2-1 victory over Veracruz FC to clinch the Copa Alianza Verizon Cup. The team also made semi-final appearances in the Mundialito and 9th Copa El River tournaments.

History
Regals F.C. was originally formed by Stephen Heisler with members of the Lone Star College-Kingwood Club Soccer team along with several other local players.
