The album just printed 7.000 records on vinyl, it wasn't until 22 February they made a CD version of the album.
In June 2011, the album had a sale over 200.000 records.
It's called a thrash metal classic.

Refuge Denied was one of those instances early in the introduction of the compact disc where the track order on the CD release was different from that found on the cassette/LP.
