Ravinder Singh started his football career in Punjab with Chandigarh Football Academy. In 2006, he joined Air India FC. After brilliant performances Indian football giants Kingfisher East Bengal decided to sign him.

Although Singh was not used much during the I-League season he was used a lot during the 2011 AFC Cup for East Bengal. He scored a goal in 2011 AFC Cup opener for East Bengal against Chonburi FC
