Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official residence of the President of India, located in New Delhi, Delhi, India. Until 1950 it was known as "Viceroy's House" and served as the residence of the Governor-General of India....
 - the President's official residence. The awards are given annually for Excellence in various fields. Especially the classical language scholars for the languages such as Sanskrit, Pali, Prakrit, Arabic and Persian. There is also a Presidential Honour for young scholars below age 40 who have worked to bridge the ancient and the modern especially using IT, this award was instituted in 2002 called "Maharishi Badrayan Vyas Samman" award.
