Rajendra Setu (also known as Rajendra Pul and Mokama Brdge) across the Ganges was the first bridge to link North Bihar and South Bihar.

, President of India. It is about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) long and carries a two lane road and a double line railway track. It is said that rajenrda setu bridge is not the property of road but actually the property of rail which was buil in the above said date by railway departmaent , for it was particular employee and they were alloted colony which known as G B (ganga bridge) colony. on that time when the bridge had completed passengers who used to travail via hathidah , had to pay extra charges for travelling. But after some time roadway and thermalpower had presented their curiosity to join the bridge thus both had paid for using the bridge. on that time it was estimated the life of the bridge 40 years but as we know that there had two way, thus obiviosly life has halfed.It was opened in 1959.
