, with the song "Dr. Feel Good". However, their music video and live performances for "Dr. Feel Good" caused controversy in Korea as some viewers felt that their image and concept were too provocative, especially for members Xia and T-ae for are just 16 and 17. For several major music programs in South Korea, the age limit is 15 (14 for other age standards). RaNia were forced to change their provocative choreograpghy and made minor changes to the outfits.

Comeback: Masquerade

After the conclusion of there debut single "Dr. Feel Good", the group returned in June with there second single "Masquerade" on Music Bank. "Masquerade" differentiated from "DR. Feel Good" as it didn't cause controversy with the viewers with their choreography.

Teddy Riley Controversy

Just after promotions for Masquerade finished, Teddy Riley had been sending out mysterious tweets concerning his future with RaNia. Not long after, Teddy confirmed he had left RaNia after falling out with the Korean record label, DR Music, the main record label of RaNia.

RaNia's US debut was put into question although Dr Music state that the US activities are still on. Teddy produced the group's first two single. It was later announced that Rania would work with renown producers Brave Brothers for their next single and even possibly internationally known U.S producer Darkchild.

Comeback: Pop Pop Pop

In November, RaNia came back with a 2nd mini album, Time to Rock Da Show, and from it, released their 3rd single, Pop Pop Pop.

Controversy: 8th member Yijo

RaNia were meant to debut with a Chinese member, Sarah Wang, who had to leave because of sickness. A new member, Yijo Chang, was brought in at last minute and was featured in the music video for "Dr. Feel Good" but has never joined RaNia during performances or interviews, causing speculation on wether Yijo is with the group or not.
