Prem Krishen is an India
n film actor, turned TV and film producer and the owner of Cinevista banner, known for TV series such as Kathasagar, Gul Gulshan Gulfaam
and Junoon and more recently Dill Mill Gayye.
He is the son of the late actor Prem Nath and Bina Rai
. He followed in his parents' footsteps briefly by starring in the big hit Dulhan Wohi Jo Piya Man Bhaye (1977) which reived the Rajshri banner, and in some television serials, but soon became producer.
He is the father of actress Akanksha Malhotra, and he launched her in his home production of Yeh Mohabbat Hai (2002), claiming that she reminds him so much of his mother.
