Philip James founded Snooth in November 2006, prior to that he was Executive Vice President at The Wine Messenger (an online retailer of Wine). He graduated from Oxford University in 1999 with a Masters in Chemistry and Columbia Business School

 in 2005 with his MBA. In addition he holds the Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators.

Philip climbed Mount Everest
