Route description

Pennsylvania Route 282 heads north from US 30 Business on Green Street. It follows Green Street for a short distance and then follows Pennsylvania Avenue west for a short distance before turning north on Wallace Avenue. At the north end of Downingtown, the road intersects Norwood Road, which provides access to the U.S. Route 30

PA 282 is a largely rural road outside of the Borough of Downingtown, and carries little traffic. The villages of Lyndell and Glenmoore both exist along the route north of Downingtown.
