, and PMH amalgamate into the William Osler Health Centre. In early 2006, the Brampton campus of the William Osler Health Centre was renamed back to Peel Memorial Hospital, as residents continued to use the old name, a cause of much confusion.

Since health care in Ontario is changing with these new Local Integrated Health Networks (LIHNs), Peel Memorial is now funded by the Central West LIHN, not the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. The CEOs of the LIHNs have to sign "accountability agreements", effectively making them liable if they do not stay under budget.

Present: closed for renovations (October 28, 2007 to present)

"On Sunday October 28, 2007, health care programs and services at Peel Memorial Hospital were discontinued until redevelopment plans are developed and implemented." Upon closing, all Hospital services were transferred to the new William Osler Health Centre
