Career
Wannenburg made his provincinal debut in 2001 against the Golden Lions Rugby Union. In 2002 Wannenburg made his Super 12 (now, Super 14) debut against the ACT Brumbies. Also in that year, Wannenburg went on to make his first test appearance for the SpringboksSouth Africa national rugby union team
