Collister was a manager and recording engineer/producer. He was the manager of OMD and also recorded and co-produced their first single Electricity

under the pseudonym of Chester Valentino. After running the engineering department for a telecommunications company for 10 years Collister retired at 45. He is currently living on Merseyside with his partner and his two children.
