Patna enjoys a small library, a games hall, a football field, numerous country walks and a golf club. The river Doon is popular with local anglers.

There is an old ruin of a manor situated at the back of Patna, it was built in 1916.
in the 90's the land around the manor was used as a caravan park, it was a popular holiday destination.
Towards the end of the 90's the caravan park went bankrupt and shut down, the manor was just left and began to get broken in to by local youths, until one day it became victim to fire and burnt down, leaving it in ruins.
